Meet H2OME the New Real Wood Waterproof Hardwood Floors

H2OME Real Wood Waterproof Hardwood Floors

Real waterproof hardwood floors are here! We’re excited to share the new H2OME line of waterproof hardwood floors. Complete with a beautiful, real wood layer and a natural waterproof rigid core, the entire H2OME collection is built for durability for every room. And with sixteen oak options to choose from—including reactive and reclaimed looks—there’s something for every design sensibility.

How is it possible to make hardwood floors waterproof?

Our new H2OME flooring includes a real wood layer and a natural waterproof rigid core. We use closed cell construction and an innovative edge coating technology for true, sealed waterproof performance. Plus, the tough finish provides scratch and dent resistance, making these floors great for active households.

We put our hardwoods to the test, and a third party found H2OME stands up to 72-hour water submersion. So we gave it a warranty to match: 50 Year Residential, Lifetime Structural, 15 Year Light Construction and 72-Hour Waterproof.

Is it really real wood?

Yes, H2OME Waterproof Hardwoods are real wood! While there are plenty of wood-look waterproof floors on the market, few can claim to be made of real wood, which is one of the best flooring materials for resale value.

Beautiful waterproof hardwood floors

From traditional single and double stain floors to more aesthetically versatile options like distressed, wire-brushed, and hand-scraped styles, H2OME provides the stand-out visuals you’ve come to expect from LIFECORE hardwood floors. This collection comes in 7 ½ inch-wide planks for an on-trend look with timeless appeal.

How do you clean waterproof hardwood floors?

It’s hard to say there’s one best thing about H2OME hardwood floors, but the clean-up process might just be it. Thanks to the waterproof construction, H2OME is safe for wet-mopping, making it a great option for messy kitchens and family bathrooms.

LOW VOC waterproof flooring

Many non-wood waterproof flooring options including laminate and vinyl can add VOCs to your home. We make our H2OME Waterproof Hardwoods with the same innovative ZERO-ADD® technology we use for our LIFECORE Hardwood Collection, which means no formaldehyde is added during the manufacturing process, so you don’t have to worry about compromising your indoor air quality in exchange for waterproof flooring. Plus, H2OME is FloorScore Certified for your peace of mind.

  1. We have newly installed h2ome flooring. I have cleaned with water and with wood floor products. It has a hazy finish and leaves foot prints. Any suggestions on how to clean? After installation, was there any treatment that needed to be done to “finish” it?

  2. Thinking about purchasing this floor for my downstairs area. Do you have a room visualizer feature on your site. Thanks
